Myrtle
Park Recreational Area |
Myrtle Park is located
near St Patrick's River approximately thirty eight kilometres from Launceston,
Tasmania on the Tasman Highway on the way to the township of Scottsdale.
The area is managed by the Launceston City Council and there are toilets,
water and a small shop where you pay your camping fee of three dollars
($3) per van per night. The area accommodates Large Motorhome's and the
area is mainly flat and you are able to camp close to the river, which
contains Trout and Platypus. The Island Wanderers Chapter conducts Rally's
there. |
