Needless to say rally happenings on the Island Wanderers web site will be temporarily suspended, though you are invited to read their diary of their adventures over the next four months. This will posted on Rally Happenings and all you need do is follow the link. It is requested that you be a little patient as you can well expect they will be out of touch with civilisation for weeks at a time thus will not have access to online centres etc to upload the latest happenings of their tour onto the web site, it will always be done as soon as pracitiable. When they reach Birdsville they are just going to set the sail and see where the wind will takes them, so to speak. So keep track of Jim & Liz and see what happens over the next four months as they wander around the Outback of Australia. |

| Island Wanderers members are saddened by the passing away of Dick Archer T3457 on the 18th of December 2009 a most respected member of the Chapter whose presence around our Camp Fires and Rallies will be sadly missed. Dick took an interest in the running of the Chapter and assisted in ensuring Rallies were succesful for members and guests. Renowned for his efforts in conducting raffles and good humour will be long remembered. We extend our condolences and deepest sympathy to Madge and all members of Dick's family from all members of the Island Wanderers Family. |
